Sally Samadi joins Stephenson Harwood as technology partner

Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has enhanced its technology and outsourcing capabilities with the addition of Sally Samadi as partner. She joins the firm's international IP, tech and data practice group in London.

Sally specialises in complex technology transactions, including multi-vendor outsourcings and digital transformation projects – with a particular focus on the financial services sector and cross-jurisdictional matters. She works for customers and suppliers on IT and business process outsourcing, and has notable experience working with fintech clients in relation to the technology contracts and data protection considerations which underpin the deployment of innovative solutions.

"Since identifying technology as a strategic area of focus for the firm, we have been actively pursuing senior hires in this space," said Simon Bollans, head of technology, Stephenson Harwood. "Sally's arrival is a significant step in expanding our technology practice; her experience will allow us to broaden the non-contentious services we can offer our clients in this area, including to existing clients of the firm for whom she already acts."

"As we look to expand and deepen our client offering in the technology space, attracting top talent such as Sally is a key objective," said Dan Holland, head of IP, tech and data at Stephenson Harwood. "She is a rising star, with an exceptional skill set, and will play a key role in expanding our capabilities in this area."

Stephenson Harwood's technology team provides a full range of legal services to businesses involved in the sector. The firm acts for clients ranging from start-ups to established technology companies, and businesses undergoing digital transformation of their business operations. The firm's lawyers provide support across the whole product and business lifecycle – whether in relation to technology focused development, deployment, regulation or disputes.
