Stephenson Harwood advises FPE Capital on Global App Testing investment
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised FPE Capital LLP, the software and services focused lower mid-market growth investor, on its growth investment in Global App Testing.
This marks the third investment from FPE Fund III, the firm’s third software and services focussed fund which closed in May at a raised hard cap of £185 million. The investment from FPE will help Global App Testing's founders and their management team, as they accelerate the company's existing growth, invest further into product development and autonomous testing, and implement its expansion plans in the US market.
Founded in 2013, Global App Testing is a global testing platform for the software development sector. It combines a proprietary autonomous testing platform with an intelligent crowd testing network to deliver fast, accurate bug testing to QA and Development teams at hundreds of brands, including Google, Microsoft, General Electric and Booking.com.
The Stephenson Harwood team was led by private equity partner Malcolm MacDougall, who was supported by managing associate Chris Manning and associates Alex Stevens, Isaac Paine and Matt Askew.
